Ahnaf Ibn Qais discusses today’s article “The End of ‘Israel’ & The Death of Zionism: Why Time has run out for the Neo-Crusader European Settler Colony in West Asia.” Excerpt from the article:
Contrary to ‘Israeli’ Hasbara, the Zionists are not a people who ‘made the desert bloom’ courtesy of their own autarkic, innovative nature. Instead, the vast majority of ‘Israeli’ economic activity is heavily subsidized by their American poodles:
US subsidies for the ‘Israelis,’ when inflation is factored in, amount to some 300 billion USD or so, spanning 1946-2022. This averages to around ~4 billion USD per annum, which for a 600 billion USD economy is a significant amount in its budget sheet.
‘Israeli’ society thus runs like a Neo-Crusader military garrison with the organs of a state apparatus. The American poodles fork over substantial funds to subsidize healthcare, services, munitions, etc., while the Apartheid regime spends on the military:
This has meant an extraordinarily fragile & plump system that no longer can fight a peer-to-peer conflict, opting instead for heavy-handed military policing operations against a primarily defenceless civilian population residing in Gazah & the West Bank.
Excerpt from the interview:
Ahnaf Ibn Qais: A case can be made that we're now getting to the point where all the signs of collapse are basically in front of us. And we simply have to take the extra step and simply acknowledge that, OK, this is precisely what it is we're seeing. Right. And there is no ironclad rule which says that, OK, a country X or country Y has to exist forever. Right. There's no such rule for that, especially for like a stolen land such as Palestine, which the Israelis have occupied for so long. With regard to what those signs are, I think I outlined them, but basically there's five.
And Ilan Pape, the historian—once upon a time he called himself an Israeli, but now he's too ashamed to do so because of all the crimes and genocide and ethnic cleansing taking place. But it was his idea that actually we're seeing these five things play out right now. And the first one really is the fact that even prior to Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, which the Palestinian Joint Operations Room conducted, Israeli society was teetering، because the ultra right wing fascists in government, Ben Gavir and his cronies, were running around like mobbing people, engaging in pogroms and all the other stuff, right? And so they were already diplomatically isolated, right?
In addition to that, the resistance axes in the region, the Islamic resistance axes and their Christian allies, were already fighting back tooth and nail and making significant headway. And this is before October 7th, right? So when they did the Huara pogrom on February, they met with a lot of resistance even back then. And they expected a full-scale massacre, a one-sided massacre, but they were super surprised when the savages and the brown and black untermenschen fought back, right?
So that was quite surprising for them. They got a bloody nose from that. And, you know, post-October 7th, you've seen global solidarity for the Palestinian cause flower. You've seen really a situation where…I think George Galloway said it best. He said that once upon a time, if I look for the pro-Palestinian crowd in London, I could probably snugly fit them in Wembley Stadium. But now there's like millions and millions of decent, fair-minded people of faith, no faith, Jew, non-Jew, Muslim, non-Muslim, who have taken the view that, this illegal entity can no longer stand. And so we have to be for Team Palestine because being on Team Palestine is being on Team Humanity, right? That's the second reason.
The third reason is of course the economic implosion of the Israeli economy, which we're seeing live before our eyes. In the last quarter of 2023 they lost 20 percent of their GDP, so that's like well over 100 billion dollars evaporating.
The fourth reason is the so-called most moral army in the world being unable to beat barefooted resistance fighters wearing khakis and adidas flip-flops and tracksuits.
And the last reason, which some people actually don't think about, is that Jewish populations all across the world, whether it's in the States or Europe or elsewhere, actually don't like Israel anymore because they are conducting a genocide and ethnic cleansing in their name.
And most Jewish people are decent and fair minded and they want no part in this drivel. So that, in a nutshell, is why I personally see the doom coming for this vile settler colony.
