Yes, and unfortunately lies become true in the public mind after endless repetition, like The Song that Never Ends about the Event that Never Happened.
On October 13, 1884, Pope Leo XIII had a terrible vision of the assault of the powers of Hell against the Catholic Church, and ordered the prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel to be said by every priest and bishop at the end of Mass. He also composed an Act of Exorcism and ordered it to be inserted into the Roman Ritual, and explicitly mentioned what he had seen:
“The Church, the Spouse of the Immaculate Lamb, has been filled with bitterness and inebriated with poison by her crafty enemies, who have laid impious hands on her most sacred possessions. In the place where the See of Holy Peter and the Chair of Truth has been set up as the light of the world, they have raised the throne of their abominable impiety, with the iniquitous design that when the Pastor has been struck, the sheep may be scattered.”
While he never wrote about this, on October 13, 1884 -- precisely 33 years before the “Miracle of the Sun” by Our Lady of Fatima -- https://knightsoftheholyrosary.com/resources.htm -- Pope Leo had just completed celebrating Mass when he collapsed, as though dead. The cardinals and others present immediately rushed to his aid. The pope related the following vision of Our Lord Jesus Christ in discussion with Satan:
The guttural voice, the voice of Satan in his pride, boasting to Jesus:
"I can destroy your Church"
The voice of Jesus: "You can? Then go ahead and do so."
Satan: "To do so, I need more time and more power."
Jesus: "How much time? How much power?
Satan: "75 years [some sources say 100 years], AND GREATER POWER OVER THOSE WHO WILL GIVE THEMSELVES OVER TO MY SERVICE."
Our Lord: "You have the time, you will have the power. Do with them what you will."
(Is it just coincidence that exactly 75 years later, 1959, Antipope/papal pretender John XXIII -- whitesmoke1958.com -- called for the false Vatican II Council?)
After recovering from the experience, the pope composed a longer version of the prayer to St Michael. The short version was required for all priests to recite at the end of every Mass until Antipope Paul VI shamefully did away with it in 1964, I'm pretty sure at the behest of his judeo-masonic/communist handlers (and apparently blackmailers as well: see www.traditioninaction.org/ProgressivistDoc/A_094_MontiniHomo.html).
We should say the prayer every day too:
"Saint Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and the other evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen."
I disagree, I had to read El Saadawi for my African Lit MA and...well, it wasn't the best part of the reading list, let's just say. A good heuristic is: If Western feminists like it, it's probably way overrated ; - )
By calling Williamson a "religious fanatic," you reveal more about yourself than about him.

Thank you, Kevin. What a giant intellect and courage to speak truth without compromise. May God grant Bishop Williamson's soul eternal rest.
Thank you Kevin. Big ideas here.

Wow, I never thought of it that way. Very provocative!
