Media is most likely the causative variable. People who are permanently brainlocked to TV believe ALL official lies. People who are disconnected from daily doses of media poison are more likely to observe plain reality.
Amen, Kevin. You know, when I read this Newsletter item I searched for a Canadian interview with Mark Crispin Miller which, when I interrupted it, was about to get into what is the difference between the conspiracy theorists and the Kool-Aid drinkers. Now I can't find the interview. I am realizing that to break away from prevailing narrative is in all cases to incur marginalization. But of course, the likes of us don't belong anywhere except the margins anyway. We are not only conspiracy theorists, we are heartbroken dreamers of a better way to share Life.

I hate to admit it, but you're right. "It's the media, stupid."

That last line is not only poetic, it's true!
I sat through the sermon anyway. I am Catholic , and I too will climb the stairway to heaven this lent. Have a blessed Ramadan Kevin.
Thanks Dan, blessings to you and yours!
