I think you talked about this already. Interesting how entire grouping of people is errased except Zionists by saying a term that applied to the entire region's people is obsolete. Why doesn't the ADL just say Anti Zionism rather than anti-Semitism. Would be far more accurate.

That's an excellent point. The original, 19th-century meaning of "anti-Semitism" was "antipathy toward people of the Semitic race, i.e. Jews (and by extension Arabs)." It was a form of racism based on the misperception that everyone whose ancestors supposedly spoke a Semitic language was part of the "Semitic race."
Today the ADL keeps that misperception alive because racism is unpopular and the outmoded term "anti-Semitism" implies that negative views of Jews are racist. But of course that's not true. Most critiques of Jewish power, Zionism, etc. are directed towards ideas and culture, not biology.

Anyone who has even rudimentary knowledge of the history of Zionism knows full well that back when the Zionist movement was starting in the late 19th/early 20th centuries, the strongest opposition came from Jews who knew what a bad idea it was! These were primarily Jews living in North Africa, the Near East, Western Europe (including the UK), and the US who had very happily and successfully assimilated into their host countries. Their loyalty lay with these countries, not with the fanatics who wanted to take over Palestine. They KNEW Zionism would only result in antisemitism directed towards them, and they were right. The ones who did take over Palestine were primarily from Eastern Europe and Russia (including Ukraine), where they were a revolutionary force. The Soviet Union supported them with money and weapons. These were the ones who instigated the Nakba and who have controlled the genocidal Zionist entity to this day. OF COURSE THEIR ACTIONS ARE LEADING TO ANTISEMITISM WORLDWIDE. In fact, Israel INTENDS its actions to lead to more antisemitism because this gives their genocidal actions more credence. Similarly, the Zionists cooperated with the Nazis in WWII to create the "holocaust" for the same reason. All the above is why a very substantial portion of Jews today, especially in the US, see Zionism for what it is and want to have NOTHING TO DO WITH ISRAEL. Wake up folks, and see how you are being used and manipulated.
