Thanks, Peter! I agree. I spent the first 30 years of my life inundated by Russophobic propaganda. Then the Cold War ended and I spent another 30 years without it. I can tell you from experience, we're better off without it!
My father was born in what is now western Ukraine and my mother's first husband was a German soldier who was killed in Russia. I was born in Germany, so I have "skin in the game" so to speak, in the current whatever it is in Ukraine.
