Well hey, why not? I’ve sometimes wondered why folks in the West, particularly those in the truth movement, haven’t looked more into why Islam has been so maligned — or even just sought to learn more about it once they realize it’s not the bogeyman. Some are allergic to all organized religion, but what’s the alternative? Disorganized religion? Nihilism? Blind hedonism/“do as thou wilt”? And as we’ve seen, materialism and scientism, spurred on by unbridled capitalism, lead to very dark places.
In connection with the current discussion, I do find it a bit disturbing the extent to which many white people are attached to their white identity as if it’s all they have to hold on to. In the end, those fragile pale bodies will return to the soil along with the rest of humanity. This gentleman sounds fearful! The guidance of a great religious tradition focusing on God and living an upright life might just free him from that fear.
Regarding HR 6090 Antisemitism Awareness Act, I have read the whole bill, and the last part says "CONSTITUTIONAL PROTECTIONS.—Nothing in this Act shall be construed to diminish or infringe upon any right protected under the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States." So it claims not to violate free speech, and when I go to https://holocaustremembrance.com/resources/working-definition-antisemitism, the presumably current definition, which is "non-legally binding" doesn't mention Israel. However, below the definition there is a statement that says "Manifestations might include the targeting of the state of Israel, conceived as a Jewish collectivity. However, criticism of Israel similar to that leveled against any other country cannot be regarded as antisemitic." However, I fully understand Alan's concern when he draws a parallel to CRA 1964 and how it laid the foundation for today's DEI and wokeness. I agree the consequences of passing this bill could be worse than it looks. Is there are a source that explicitly states the new definition of antisemitism includes criticism of Israel?
Regarding Covid in Africa, here is an article by Dr. Mercola (that has a paywall, unfortunately, though I have a pdf copy) from December 2021 which explains possibly why cases of Covid in Africa have been low.
The article says that Africa's climate of high humanity and temperature makes viruses less likely to spread, that hydroxychloroquine, used widely in Africa to treat malaria, is also effective at treating Covid (in early stages, at least), and that sweet wormwood, also used to treat malaria, has been used to treat coronaviruses since the outbreak of SARS in 2003. It should also be noted that Covid vaccine uptake was extremely low: about 6%. I think Africans are generally wise to the effects of vaccines due to Bill Gates and his ilk testing vaccines on previously unsuspecting African populations. But that's another story.
kevin, after posting a negative comment last saturday about the child-murdering mosodomites, i woke up last sunday without the use of my left arm and left leg. i can't prove it, but i believe the cia holes, the mosod, are responsible.
since it's very hard to write with one hand, i won't be posting for awhile, but i am slowly improving and i wish the best to everyone here. i'll keep reading, so keep posting. no matter what, don't ever give up. keep fighting my friends for palestine, for ever, or until palestine is free.
