It seems "I don't support rape or abuse of women, but ...." now joins "I don't like Trump, but ...," "I'm not anti- Semitic, but ....," "I'm not a racist, but ..." as new mandatory introductory clauses in any written or verbal communication.
I'll raise you: "I don't support or even condone sex outside of marriage, much less the young Brand's lifestyle, but... ; - ) "
