In 2015, as I recall (I was visiting Iran once or twice a year so it might have been 2014) I had a long conversation with an Iranian engineer who was working on a program to counter US-Israeli weather warfare, which was pushing the country into drought. He was optimistic that Iran was going to win the weather wars. But since then the drought has persisted, so they may not have solved it yet.

I've concluded, at age 72, that war is as much a part of life as sex, bodily elimination and disease. In fact war is a disease of sorts and likely a form of mental illness. The Balfour Declaration, Nov 1917, was a way to mitigate the "Jewish Problem" by sending the Jews OUT of Europe and to West Asia where the Arabs presumably would have to deal with them. It was a policy initiated by a EUROPEAN Banker and A EUROPEAN politician. No one in Palestine was consulted regarding this policy and it set up another failed British Imperial move that was wrong and bad for all concerned. The end of the Ottoman Empire did not mean that the Europeans had any right to export the Jewish Problem to another part of the world...with the horrible results we endure, presently. I'm guessing a solid forensic team will determine if Israel was culpable in the crash in Iran. My heart goes out to the Iranian people.
