And that is that the people that people tend to dislike, or even hate, the most, are those people one has committed harmful acts against. The reason the Israelis dislike, or even hate, or classify the Palestinians as animals is because the Israelis have been treating the Palestinians worse than animals for so many decades. If they didn't lessen the status of the people they are harming they wouldn't be able to live with themselves. Conscience would prevent it.
So if anyone finds themselves hating Israelis one might wonder, well what could possibly be happening there? Well, to permit human beings to wantonly slaughter hundreds of thousands of other human beings without every effort to restrain them is actually a harmful act against those committing the slaughter. Just think about it, what if you had a good friend who in an act of rage was beating his wife and his children and moving on to the neighbors. If you didn't stop him what kind of a friend would you be? A friend would lock him up if need be until the rage passed and he was no longer a threat to life forms in his surrounds. But it would have to be a
brave friend.
On the other hand, the people whom we tend to like the most are the people whom we have truly helped. Even if it is the small things, a smile, kind words, a sincere and helpful compliment. Find someone that allows you to help them, do so and see what happens. They just might not like you more, but most probably you will like them more.
That is probably why the worst, most depraved engineers of the evil would not permit the soldiers to allow food and humanitarian aid in. It is why they would not let Doctors continue to help. When people help they become more humane. They like the ones they help more. The depraved souls that wanted the killing to continue with wild abandon could not allow that.
