I enjoyed your interesting discussion and chat. Michele, I used to read your op-ed pieces in the Greensboro News & Record and you were not a favorite of mine, I must admit. I was thinking it was in the 70's but obviously it must have been in the 90's. I have forgotten WHY I disagreed with you, but after listening today, it well may have been something about immigration, though I never had real strong feeling about that topic. I only recall how right-wing you were, and that I wrote a letter to the editor about whatever it was that set me off. Anyway, it's gratifying to realize that views of all people can & do change for the better. It's all a matter, it seems to me, of give and take and finding the right balance. Best wishes to you.
