What's your pine needle tea recipe? Do you wash and dry them, or just straight off the tree and into your cup?

Straight off the tree onto the chopping board. The chopped pieces ranging from 1/8" to 1/2" go into the tea infuser. Outside the infuser, in the bottom of the cup (or pot) I add a teaspoon of fresh chopped ginger. Pour on boiling water, steep ten minutes and add lemon and honey.
