By Kevin Barrett, for American Free Press David Ray Griffin, the pre-eminent scholar of the 9/11 truth movement, passed away last week at the age of 83. Dr. Griffin, alongside his mentor John Cobb, co-founded process theology, the most interesting and substantive of the many novel approaches to theology that proliferated in the 20th century. He published 50 books, including 14 on 9/11, as well as hundreds of articles.
I've listened to many speeches about 9-11... this is one of the best. Thank you for re-posting this from 2005; amazing and highly relevant to current events.
I remember David Ray Griffin being interviewed by Tucker Carlson and being in a debate with Matt Taibbi. Tucker claimed that Griffin's line of thought amounted to a sin. Taibbi could only resort to name calling. I wonder how they would conduct themselves today if they had the same opportunity. A true American hero, as are you Kevin.
Thanks so much for this Kevin. It must be hard to keep on truth-telling when it seems like so few are listening, but you can never tell. I, for one, am listening.
The warriors who fight for Allah, eg the mamluks who saved Al-Quds from mongol rampage, all receive divine assistance in their work. That Griffin did not get a NYT Orbituary is yet another sign of the deep morass of falsehood that now bedevils America. Its as telling as hunter bidens "analfuck69" porn password. But thank God he leaves behind another generation of warriors, including KB.
Snubbing DRG by the NYT is a unique honor to him. RIP

Very well said, Kevin. DRG will be greatly missed.
