I hope you will write about Karbala with your own style of writing and thinking !!!!!

Ashura asks us not only what we remember, but what we have learned. Let’s spend this day in worship, gratitude, remembrance, and reflection. Ya Hu يا هو

Salaamun aleikum, convert of 15 years here So the thing that i always question is the explanation for why Sunnis celebrate Muharram/Ashura-they quote a hadith that says the Prophet (SAWS) was walking along one day and he came across a Jew that was fasting and he asked him why he was fasting and he said to commemorate the freeing of the Jews from Egypt/parting of Red Sea, and the Prophet (SAWS) supposedly responded by saying, "we have more right to Moses than they do", and from that point forward fasting during the 10 days of Muharram started. What I find problematic about this reasoning is first off, the attitude the prophet supposedly showed at that moment. That does not sound something like the profit would have said with that kind of attitude.. secondly, I have a very hard time believing that the Prophet (SAWS) would just accept adding to the religion of Islam from some random Jew he ran into. That itself is very questionable. These are just my rational reasonings.

Kevin, I hope you realize someday that your salvation status with Yahweh God is determined by your genetics. It is not a philosophical decision.

Yahweh God created only one race of man, the Adamic race. He named that race after the Hebrew word "Adam" which translates to:

https://www.eliyah.com/cgi-bin/strongs.cgi?file=hebrewlexicon&isindex=adam

This describes only one race, the Adamic or "white" race - translucent skin - shows blood through the skin - flush or turn rosy.

Well, I agree that the extant version of the Old Testament is tinged with racism designed to convince tribal readers that they are the chosenites and everyone else is mere goyim. Readers who buy into that are both moronic and evil, whether they're Jewish or White or Eskimo or whatever they imagine "chosenites" are.

Kevin, you apparently deleted my response to your demeaning and uneducated reply to my first comment.

I understand. Cognitive dissonance is very difficult to overcome.
