There are huge problems in the lower socioeconomic half of the black American community, and jail is probably a good way to view some of them close up and personal. But it sounds to me like none of the other white guys locked up with these black guys in NY had those problems. Somebody had put out a "go ahead and mess with Germar" message and I doubt that whoever did that was black.
