Thank you to all the supportive commenters! By the way, isn't Patreon's language odd? OF COURSE I discuss "claims" about all sorts of issues that are "dubious" to various degrees. That includes official and popular claims as well as unofficial and unpopular ones. "Dubious" just means "doubtful." I certainly hope my audience doesn't just accept everything I say on faith as if it were beyond a shadow of a doubt. Likewise, very little in this world has been fully substantiated. (Least of all the official stories of 9/11, JFK, and so on.) So almost all theories about everything are at least somewhat unsubstantiated.

Rather than picking on this or that theory, a competent editor (unlike the mindless robots at Patreon) would focus on method. Do I speak and write intelligently, interview thoughtful and qualified people, cite reasonably solid sources, listen to the other side of arguments, and so on? (As opposed to blathering ignorantly and whipping up emotions while shedding more heat than light?)

It shouldn't be about what you believe, but how you got there and how reasonably you can discuss your beliefs in thoughtful dialogue with people who hold different beliefs.

And of course even the ignorant hysterical idiots are protected by the First Amendment.

So I immediately subscribed to your substack newsletter then went and deleted my patreon account, I won't continue supporting those traitors of free speech and democracy.
