What is the US doing in Iraq anyways 20 years after its invasion and destruction? - Iranian President Raisi (meeting with Iraqi leaders): “We do not consider the presence of foreign forces and foreigners in the region to be useful. The presence of the US disturbs the security of the region.” As of March 20, 2023, the number of American forces in Iraq is estimated at approximately 2,500 soldiers deployed mainly in Al Asad Airbase.
It's good to see Israelis demonstrating against Netanyahu. But are they doing it for the wrong reasons?
Freudian slip alert! I sent this out as "Can Iraq End ISRAELI Occupation?" Though corrected, there is a sense in which the US occupation of Iraq was always performed by and for the Israelis who took over US Mideast policy with their 9/11 neocon coup.
